Ontario grains and oilseeds farmers are getting a one year extension on their Risk Management Program.

Agriculture Minister Carol Mitchell announced today that the program is being extended to cover the 2010 crop year. She says the province will continue to go it alone without federal government support. Farmers who used the RMP in 2008 or 2009 can apply for it again this year.
