A new designation for King's Navy Yard Park in Amherstburg could help bring more tourists according to town officials. The park has received 1812 Bi-Centennial Art of Peace Garden status. Culture and Tourism Manager Anne Rota says the park will be featured on a tourism map. A new bronze statue and landscaping will be added to the park before the Bi-Centennial celebrations in two years. | |
