Lay-offs at Ford in Windsor.

Just under 400 workers at the Windsor engine plant will be laid off November 1st. It's because of the elimination of the second shift at the plant, which will impact roughly 500 people. But CAW Local 200 Vice President Marc Renaud says Ford is adding a second shift at Essex Engine, so 130 of those workers will transfer. 250 production and 138 skilled trades with 16-years experience will be laid off.
