Cam Fowler has signed a 3 year entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks. The Spitfires defenceman was selected 12th overall in this year's NHL Entry Draft. The 18 year old ranked 7th in scoring among blue liners in the OHL last season, collecting 8 goals and 47 assists , and a plus-38 rating. The 6'1", 190 pounder added 14 points in 19 OHL playoff games in the Spitfires run to their second straight Memorial Cup championship. Fowler also won gold as a member of Team USA's 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship team. | |
