A flood advisory has been issued for the entire Windsor-Essex region by the Essex Region Conservation Authority.

According to ERCA officials the ground is already in a saturated state, and the rain from this afternoons storm could cause flooding and drainage problems. Isolated storms over the next six hours could drop as much as 2 inches of rain on the area according to Environment Canada. The flood warning is in effect until midnight.
