The OPP dive team is in the Detroit River this afternoon searching for a missing 20-year old Windsor woman who's presumed drowned. A young boy is recovering in hospital after being run over by a tractor. Police were called to a farm on Countryview Line around 8:30 last night after a man accidentally backed over his three-year old son. Lay-offs at Ford in Windsor. Just under 400 workers at the Windsor engine plant will be laid off November 1st. It's because of the elimination of the second shift at the plant, which will impact roughly 500 people. According to ERCA officials the ground is already in a saturated state, and the rain from this afternoons storm could cause flooding and drainage problems.
